PaceWorks Inc.'s much-anticipated animation authoring software Dancer for Internet and multimedia is now publicly available in a beta version through PaceWorks' Web site. Users can download Dancer 1.0b9 in a limited trial beta version free, or can register the full-featured beta version for $49.
Dancer is the only professional-level 2D animation authoring tool for Power Macintosh platforms to offer major features such as: advanced animated-typography effects, powerful composition features, a streamlined drag-and-drop and point-and-click animation process, precise music synchronization, simple-to-use time controls and a truly user-friendly interface that lets even novices create high-impact animation in just minutes.
Dancer makes it easy to input and integrate multimedia elements from the most popular applications, including Adobe PhotoShop, Director, CorelDraw or LightningDraw with one-step operations. Within Dancer's framework, users can execute powerful, time-based operations to create multimedia projects for Web animation or CD titles. With Dancer, users can generate GIF89 animations, QuickTime and QuickTime sprite movies, or Java applets.
