Eudora Pro for Newton Beta Released, Download here

QUALCOMM, Inc. announced the immediate availability of a FREE pre-release version of Eudora Pro for Newton. This newest member of the #1 Internet e-mail product line offers many of the same powerful features found on QUALCOMM'S EUDORA PRO FOR Mac and Windows.

Features include:

- Direct TCP/IP connections to your POP3/SMTP server - Supports standard Internet MIME formatted text messages - Mail stationery lets you compose e-mail just like on your desktop - Powerful message filtering to help you manage your mail - Browse feature lets you decide which messages are retrieved - Fully integrated with Newton 2.0 OS - Uses Names application to quickly address mail - Easy access to all features from backdrop or Extras drawer

System requirements:

- Apple MessagePad 130 running the Newton 2.0 OS - PPP or SLIP access to the Internet - POP3 e-mail account and SMTP server access - Newton Internet Enabler can be downloaded here.
