Excite, Inc. & Rolling Stone Launch Rock & Roll Internet Guide

Excite Inc. , and Rolling Stone magazine today launched The Rolling Stone Rock Guide by Excite , an Internet guide for rock-n-roll fans.

A directory of music and pop culture Web sites, The Rolling Stone Rock Guide offers reviews and ratings to over a thousand music locations on the Web. The directory includes browsable on-line categories for artists and bands, games, musical instruments and the music business. The Rolling Stone Rock Guide also includes an interactive bulletin board system to spotlight topical issues of interest to music fans, as well as information on music-related merchandise and concert tours.

The site will be, accessible from both the Excite home page and Excite's Magellan Internet Guide ().
