Mecklermedia Corporation announced that Mecklermedia's fourth annual Fall Internet World event, to be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City on December 9 - 13, will be at least 250% larger in terms of net square footage sold than Fall Internet World Ì95.

To date, more than 188,000 square feet have been contracted versus 60,200 square feet which occupied Fall Internet World Œ95. Mecklermedia is projecting that a total of 240,000 net square feet will be sold by the eventÌs opening day. Fall Internet World Ì96 will occupy the entire Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the United States.With Fall Internet World ı96 more than four months away, we are already far surpassing last yearÌs huge success, commented Meckler. ÏMecklermedia held its first Internet World event in 1993 with 40 booths sold and 30 companies present. Today, virtually every Internet company will have a presence at Fall Internet World which has become the largest Internet event in the world.

Carl S. Pugh, President and Chief Operating Officer of MecklermediaÌs Trade Show group added, ÏWe have already sold 1,900 booths six of which are larger in square footage than the entire show in 1993. This year, we project more than 400 companies will exhibit, and Fall Internet World Œ96 will be the place for Internet companies to release their new products and services to the world. From an overall attendance standpoint, we are expecting more than 50,000 qualified buyers from around the world.ÓInternet World is held twice annually in the United States.

Spring Internet World will take place March 10-14, 1997 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. There are currently 16 Internet World shows held around the globe with several in development.
