Electrical appliance retailer Kojima Co Ltd announced on Thursday that it would start selling its own version of Apple Computer Inc's desktop personal computer Macintosh Performa on October 18.
The new PC, priced at 318,000 yen, can be installed with both a Mac operating system (OS) and Microsoft Corp's Windows operating system, Kojima said in a statement.
The company expects to sell a total of 12,000 units in the first year. Total sales are expected to reach about 3.8 billion yen, the statement said.
