A new version of the Smithsonian Magazine is now on the Web.

The producers of the site say they have attempted to take some of the beauty in design of the magazine on to the new medium. The Web also offers features not available in the printed magazine such as back issues, a gallery of photographs by Smithsonian photographers, and a search engine.
