WebEdge 4 Conference Coming in September

WebEdge, Inc. will continue it's series of conferences for Macintosh Web Developers and Webmasters on September 9-11, 1996 in Austin, Texas. In tradition with past conferences, WebEdge 4 will bring the newest and latest in web technologies to those wanting to further enhance their knowledge of development tools available. Presenting these ideas will be some of the world's leading Macintosh experts.

WebEdge 4 will be a three day conference that will bring together many of the top Webmasters and Web Developers for classes and third party demonstrations of Macintosh World Wide Web technologies. Special emphasis this year will be on "solution-oriented" sessions with over 75 Power Macs being brought in for hands-on sessions as well as a "hack room" made readily accessible throughout the conference (all on a T1, of course). Classroom sessions, product demonstrations, panel discussions, and a vendor fair will also be included in the agenda. Finally, the schedule has been formatted to allow you, the attendee, more flexability in what sessions you choose to attend.

The conference is designed especially for current Webmasters and Web Developers and includes intermediate/advanced material which will provide solutions and results in developing and maintaining your web site.

WebEdge 4 will be held September 9-11 at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas. The conference is open to advanced Macintosh WebMasters and Web Developers worldwide.

A pre-festivity bash will be held in the evening on Sunday, September 8 in conjunction with registration. This relaxing evening of food, drink, and conversation will be a perfect opportunity to network with colleagues in the Macintosh Web community.

Sessions are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning and will include classroom instruction, product demonstrations, panels, and hands-on sessions. A vendor fair, "birds of a feather" discussion, and the now famous "WebEdge Hack Competition" are also planned. The conference will conclude at approximately 3:00 pm on Wednesday.

The following are some examples of session topics: Hands-On Training - CGI/Plug-in Development, Tango, Java & Shockwave Classroom Sessions - Security, CGI Scripting, Administration & MCF Demonstrations - Apple Internet Technologies & Java Developmental Tools

Registration cost is $895. Check the web site for travel and hotel information. All additional details will be made available on the WebEdge site as they become available.
