OraSTAR is a WebSTAR (Macintosh HTTP server) plug-in that serves as an interface between WebSTAR and any Oracle7 database, including Personal Oracle7 for Power Macintosh.

OraSTAR allows you to generate dynamic HTML pages from Oracle stored procedures. Each stored procedure retrieves data from the Oracle database, formats the data into HTML as appropriate for the data, and return the pages to WebSTAR via the OraSTAR plug-in. The stored procedures are written in PL/SQL, Oracle's full-featured procedural programming language with embedded SQL.
